Main Features of RT97S Portable Repeater:

1. Customizable Frequency Repeater

TX frequency and RX frequency can be customized between UHF (400-470MHZ) or VHF(136-174MHZ). If you need to customize the repeater, please note the following information when placing the order: RX frequency, TX frequency, Offset (Offset ≥5MHz and ≤12MHz) and Charger type. When programming, the TX and RX frequencies should be within ±200khz of the custom frequency point. 

2. Extend The Distance

RT97S base station is specially designed for long communication range requirements. In this bundle, RT97S can help RT95 mobile radio and RT29 UHF handheld radio to greatly extend the range, up to 10 miles (16 km) to 15.5 miles (25 km). The distance is greatly affected by surrounding obstacles and antenna height. When in an open area and the antenna is set up high enough, the distance will be longer.

3. Updated with DB-9 Port

RT97S has an extra DB-9 connector for adding an external controller for linking purposes. Using a custom interface cable (which we do not offer) enables RT97S to be connected to a Raspberry Pi connected to the myGMRS Network or any other repeater controller or linking system that uses a PC or single-board computer. This allows for controlling the RT97S repeater from a PC or Raspberry Pi. 

4. Small and Portable Repeater

Retevis RT97S repeater size is only 260 x 210 x 70mm. It is very small and compact, convenient to carry, and very useful for outdoor use and for families, individuals, and groups. You can also install it on the top of the mountain to build your own base station.

RT97S can be powered by DC12V~24V power, car power, or a solar battery. The RT97S is ideal for solar-powered repeater sites where low power and a small footprint are required. At such a portable size, this repeater is perfect for camping trips or emergency preparedness. 

6. Easy-to-Read LCD Display

Retevis RT97S repeater comes with an LCD display. The display can help you know the TX and RX frequencies, CTCSS/DCS code, and bandwidth settings easily. There are also up and down keys, which can help you change channels and CTCSS/DCS tones. You can also use the key to lock/unlock the keypad.

7. Sturdy and Durable

The shell is made of all-aluminum alloy, which is resistant to falling and has good heat dissipation effect. It has little loss in daily use and supports long-term use.

Retevis RT95 dual-band mobile radio supports multiple frequency bands to transmit and receive. It can be adjusted by the number buttons on the microphone to quickly change the frequency band you need. Retevis RT95 mobile radio has up to 200 programmable memory channels and can be identified by editing name. You have enough channel resource settings to meet the needs of communication.
